A wooden house where you can enjoy a café atmosphere even at home!
Hello ![]()
This is Science Home Konosu store. ![]()
This time, we're introducing the home of Mr. and Mrs. N, who enjoy a home café experience in their light-filled dining room. ![]()
This is the living room. ![]()
The space is impressive with its large, open atrium. ![]()
It has a fairly large open space, so it gets cold in the winter, and I feel that the heating and cooling are inefficient.
Because we use exterior insulation, which wraps the entire house in insulation material from the outside of the pillars.
It keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer. ![]()
Its high durability prevents condensation and extends the lifespan of the building. ![]()
By combining it with the traditional shinkabe construction style that exposes beams and pillars, you can feel the warmth of wood.
It achieves both high insulation performance and functionality. ![]()
The wood color is dark walnut, which goes well with the white walls. ![]()
The living room gets plenty of sunlight, and light also comes in from the open-plan hallway.
The warm, inviting atmosphere created by the wood allows the whole family to relax. ![]()
This is the kitchen. ![]()
A counter will be installed in front of the kitchen, creating a space where you can enjoy tea. ![]()
In the evenings, even while working in the kitchen, conversations are likely to flow easily while enjoying drinks. ![]()
To the left of the kitchen is the dining kitchen. ![]()
It makes it easy to serve meals quickly, saving time. ![]()
The dining table is connected to the counter, so it seems like it will be very convenient to use. ![]()
We use checker glass on the stovetop side. ![]()
The uneven surface of the grid pattern scatters light, bringing brightness even to recessed areas. ![]()
A custom-made table has been installed behind the kitchen and dining table. ![]()
Both are low-profile and waist-high to create a sense of unity. ![]()
Because it's a low-profile design, you can use the kitchen side to place appliances or as a work surface. ![]()
The dining table area seems like it could be used for a variety of purposes, such as working on a PC. ![]()
Next to the living room is a raised Japanese-style room. ![]()
Using orange wallpaper as an accent color, and bathed in sunlight...
It has a bright atmosphere, doesn't it? ![]()
By intentionally leaving the door open, it can be used as part of the living room. ![]()
It can be used as a guest room, but it can also be used as a napping space for children on a regular basis. ![]()
This is the free space on the second floor. ![]()
A counter was set up in a corner of the hall, creating a shared space for the family. ![]()
Since it's a hall, you can hear the voices of family members, so you don't feel isolated and can enjoy your alone time. ![]()
It looks like it could be used as a study space for children in the future. ![]()
There is a study corner for the owner on the catwalk at the back right. ![]()
This area is only accessible from the bedroom. ![]()
This can be useful when you need to concentrate on work or other tasks. ![]()
How did you like Mr. N's house? ![]()
You can create corners around the open atrium on the second floor, allowing each person to enjoy themselves individually.
It is designed to allow you to feel the presence of your family. ![]()
The café-like atmosphere of the kitchen on the first floor is sure to spark lively conversations among family members. ![]()
It's such a lovely space; it looks like you could invite friends over and have a great time there. ![]()
I'll introduce you to another lovely home. ![]()
