Introducing the town of Soka

This is Science Home Soka branch. Today, we'd like to introduce you to the cherry blossoms of Soka.

 

 

 

 

Sunday, March 29, 2026. The weather was beautiful, and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom!

 

 

 

 

 

The cherry blossoms weren't in full bloom, but lots of people were out for a stroll, eating lunches, drinking alcohol, and taking lots of photos with big smiles on their faces!

 

 

 

 

The boat used for the traditional Japanese boat ride experience on the Ayase River, which I introduced the other day, has arrived, so I took a picture of it!

 

 

 

 

It was a bit on the hot side, but the cherry blossoms were beautiful!

 

 

 

 

 

The cherry blossom season is a time of many events, such as graduations, school entrance ceremonies, job transfers, and moving.
