This is Science Home Soka store. Today, we will introduce "wall decorations."

This time I made some wall decorations!

These are the long-tailed tits ♪

The long-tailed tit is a popular wild bird known as the "snow fairy" that lives only in Hokkaido.

It is a subspecies of the Long-tailed Tit, a member of the Passeriformes family, and is characterized by its pure white face and round body.

*What is a subspecies?

Organisms that are of the same genus but have different colors and shapes depending on the area in which they are distributed, and are recognized as different populations between regions

In winter, their feathers expand to store air to protect them from the cold, giving them a round, fluffy, and adorable appearance, but in summer they become a little slimmer than in winter.

In the snowy winter scenery of Hokkaido, a pure white and cute figure emerges from the snow.
