Introduction to the city of Soka

This is Science Home Soka store. Today, I would like to introduce "Souka Living Creature Group Survey".

 

 

 

 

 

In order to conserve living creatures and their habitats, it is important to first "know" what kinds of creatures live in Soka City.

 

 

 

 

 

Soka City is hosting a "Souka Living Creature Group Survey" in which all participants conduct surveys together with local citizen instructors in areas where many of the city's rare and wild creatures live, learning about the names and characteristics of living creatures.

 

 

Date and time: Saturday, July 12, 2025

 

 

Survey time: 9:00am to 11:00am

*Will proceed even if it rains lightly

 

 

Meeting time: 8:50am

 

 

Meeting place: Kakinoki Community Center (1263 Kakinoki, Soka City)

 

 

Eligibility: Residents and employees of the city who are elementary school students or older (parental supervision is required)

 

 

Capacity: Approximately 30 people
