We often come across homes that take advantage of the sloping shape of the land, but one idea that makes use of the slope of the land, which cannot be seen from the outside, is the "basement".
If you open the door at the foot of the hallway, which looks like a slightly large storage space under the floor, you will see a staircase leading to the basement.
The basement has a secluded feel and is perfect for reading or watching movies!
What impression comes to mind when you hear the word "basement"?
Recently, more and more people are building basements.
The good thing about having a basement is that you can add another floor's worth of floor space, and during an earthquake the walls will warp less, making the shaking feel smaller.
It also has excellent soundproofing properties and can be used as a shelter in case of an emergency.
